1Where we ship
We ship to institutional and commercial receiving addresses in the United States.
Give us a full receiving address: building, room or dock, department, street, city, state, and postal code. Where a campus routes deliveries through central receiving, tell us — an extra day in an unrefrigerated mailroom ruins a cold-chain shipment.
International orders are considered case by case and may require export documentation. Ask before you order.
2Cold chain
Packaging is chosen from the product's storage requirement and the transit time to your address, not from what you select at checkout.
| Storage requirement | Ships as | Service |
|---|---|---|
| Ambient / room temperature | Insulated mailer | Ground or air |
| −20 °C, desiccated | Insulated box with frozen gel packs | Overnight or 2-day, by distance |
| −80 °C | Insulated box with dry ice, declared as UN1845 | Overnight only |
Lyophilised peptides tolerate short ambient excursions well; that is why they are shipped dry. Gel packs arriving soft are normal and not by itself a cold-chain failure. Dry ice fully sublimated on arrival is expected on a long route.
3When orders ship
Orders on approved accounts, received and cleared before 13:00 Pacific, ship the same business day. Orders after that ship the next business day.
Cold-chain orders ship Monday to Wednesday only. A frozen package sitting in a carrier hub over a weekend is a lost package, so we hold Thursday and Friday cold-chain orders until the following Monday unless you ask for Saturday delivery and your dock can receive it.
New accounts, first orders on an account, and orders that change the usual pattern may take an extra day while we confirm details. We will tell you if that happens.
4Carriers, transit, and cost
We ship by FedEx and UPS. The service is chosen to keep the material within its temperature window, which sometimes means overnight on an order that would otherwise go ground.
Shipping is charged at cost plus handling and appears as a separate line on your invoice. Dry ice shipments cost more because of the coolant, the packaging, and the dangerous-goods surcharge. Your quotation shows the shipping charge before you commit.
We can ship on your carrier account. Send us the account number and we will bill only handling, but the temperature risk in transit then sits with you and your carrier.
5Tracking and delivery
Tracking is emailed to the account contact when the label is generated. Cold-chain shipments require a signature.
Tell us if your dock closes early, shuts for a holiday, or needs a delivery appointment. Most cold-chain losses we see are a package sitting on a closed dock, not a packaging failure.
6On arrival
Open the box the day it lands. Check the product, lot number, quantity, container condition, and coolant state, then move the material to its labelled storage condition immediately.
If something is wrong, our Returns and Refunds policy tells you what to photograph and how to file. Claims close five business days after delivery.
7Documentation in the box
Every shipment carries a packing slip listing each item with its lot number. The certificate of analysis for each lot is available to your account. A safety data sheet ships with the first order of a product to your account, and again whenever the sheet is revised.
Ask us if you need documentation resent — we can reissue any CoA or SDS by lot number.
8Delays we cannot control
Weather, carrier network disruption, and customs holds happen. We will tell you as soon as we know and will re-ship a temperature-sensitive order that has been delayed beyond its packaging's rated hold time, at our cost, rather than let you receive material we no longer trust.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and delay does not cancel an accepted order.
